Hunter B. Nighbert

Hunter is a Financial Advisor, Retirement Planning Specialist, and a Partner at MCF, based in our Lexington office. He joined the firm in 2015 and serves clients across the Wealth Management and Institutional divisions. With over 27 years in the financial services industry, Hunter specializes in comprehensive financial, retirement, distribution, tax, and estate planning. He collaborates closely with MCF’s Investment Management, Tax, and Legal teams to help clients achieve their long-term goals.

Hunter earned his degree in Business Administration and Communications from Georgetown College, where he was a four-year starter on the football team.

He lives in Lexington with his wife, Amanda, a Registered Dietitian and business owner. They have two children, Tyler, a student at the University of Kentucky, and Molly, who attends Lexington Catholic High School. Hunter is active in the community, serving on the board of Aiden’s Angels and supporting organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Kentucky and Revive Ministries. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
